Keepsake Crimes (Scrapbooking Mystery Books)
1 journaler for this copy...
I'm a great mystery reader, and rate Laura Child's books as decent reads. They don't require a lot of brainwork, which makes them excellent for summer reading. This is the first of her Scrapbooking series, which takes place in New Orleans. The chief protaganist is a woman who owns a scrapbooking store. The "gimmick" is that there are scrapbooking tips and hints throughout the book. Published in 2003, I read this book spending half the time wondering whether the landmarks mentioned are still there, post-Katrina. Laura also writes The Tea Shop series, which take place in Charlston, SC. Child's books are "cozies".
