My husband has just finished this one and tells me that the historical story and the adventure story in this novel are both good. the two stories mixed together did not work for him though.

Actually for Melamura's husband to read.
my husband had read this and enjoyed it. It is now on my to be read shelf.
this book has quite a good story but I found it hard going. it has taken me months to read it - lots of technical detail which I found a bit tedious. as previously mentioned, my husband enjoyed it though, so think it must be a man's book!
