If you're new to BookCrossing, welcome! You haven't just found a book; you've found a worldwide community of readers dedicated to the joys of generosity and happenstance. Please let us know where you found your book and, once you've read it, what you thought of it. When you're ready to pass it along, you can post another entry to let us know where it's headed next: you'll be able to track its journey along with the rest of us. There are no strings attached: you can remain anonymous and, if you do decide to join, none of your information will end up on a spammer's or telemarketer's spreadsheets. This is, plain and simple, one of the best things to happen to books and their readers since the printing press!
From the publisher:
In 1970, Willie Traynor came to Clanton, Mississippi, in a Triumph Spitfire and a fog of vague ambitions. Within a year, the twenty-three-year-old found himself the owner of Ford County's only newspaper, famous for its well-crafted obituaries. While the rest of America was in the grips of turmoil, Clanton lived on the edge of another age--until the brutal murder of a young mother rocked the town and thrust Willie into the center of a storm.
Daring to report the true horrors of the crime, Willie makes as many friends as enemies in Clanton, and over the next decade he would sometimes wonder how he had gotten there in he first place. But he could never escape the crime that had shattered his innocence or the criminal whose evil had left an indelible stain. Because as the ghosts of the South's past gather around Willie, as tenson swirls around Clanton, men and women who served on a jury nine years ago are starting to die one by one-- as a killer exacts the ultimate revenge....

I found a pile of books at work on a table in the break room while at lunch. I was curious about the bookcrossing stickers on the books. So I took all the books home with me. I promise to read them and if I don't I will put them back on the table at work when I am done.

I remember reading this book, it is very good. I am keeping it for my hubby to read, although he reads very slow, so it might not move for a while.
I was sooo thrilled to find this book...I read all Grisham books and have loved all of them. I am unable to read very much now days (too much goiing on even on my day off)so it took me about 2 months to read it so the story impact was lessened by time. But it was still a good read
