I wonder if I was thinking of The Time-Traveler's Wife when I picked this up for a song at an op-shop...?
It's not bad - some salient points about relationships and trust; and whether you can ever really know someone. I found the lead character (Kathryn) a bit grating at times, and it wasn't until the near-end of the story that I actually started to feel sympathy for her situation. Now I'm not sure if that's because I'm cold-hearted, or the character was drawn that way... :P
Anyhow, I wouldn't recommend reading this on the plane, as the first scene is about a plane crash (no spoilers - it's on the blurb on the back of the book!)
