Journal Entry 1 by Athelstan-Rex from Whitchurch, Hampshire United Kingdom on Thursday, March 20, 2008
I’m launching this book into the wild
As my shelves are becoming quite piled,
By setting it free,
I’m saving a tree,
So my Karma is surely beguiled.

Now, if you want more Karma as well,
Or if you have a story to tell,
Then add to this Journal,
My thanks are eternal,
And you’ll be helping this site to excel

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

RELEASE NOTES:

Hello FINDER!
Thanks for visiting this website. Do please make a journal entry to let me know you found my book (anonymously if you prefer).

By the way, BookCrossing is an excellent group to join; it’s free and your email details are kept secret and there’s no spam. If you do join, please mention that you were referred by Athelstan-Rex.

The book is yours to keep or release ‘back into the wild’ for others to enjoy. It’s your choice. Whatever you decide, I hope the book entertains.

And now, for the solution I promised you….

The answer is TOBACCO (three fourths of a cross = ‘T’ and so on…)
I discovered this many years ago scribbled in the back of a old school text book dating from the 1930’s. It took a while to figure it out but the fact it was in a geometry book was the clue I needed!

Thanks once again!

Athelstan-Rex
