WILD RELEASE NOTES:
To be released at the February 2013 Belfast Bookcrossing meetup.
Caught at the Feb 2013 meetup in Belfast tonight, look forward to reading it - thanks Colchester!
I started reading this about a week ago, such a lovely book, and so well written, though a bit prosaic. I loved the way the different pieces of music were threaded into the story line. This is a lovely book for people who are really into classical music, and I am, in a listening sort of way. it follows the love, friendship and understanding between Michael and Julia. Michael left her ten years ago in Vienna- and now he plays in a Quartet and they meet again, but she's deaf. However Julia is still able to play the Piano beautifully and she can read cues from other people too.
But I think it would appeal even more to people who know the names of all the pieces written by famous composers. So I've kept it for one of my music loving friends.

The friend who passed this book on to me didn't think I'd like it for some reason. I couldn't put it down! As a professional musician myself I could relate to all the music references even though Michael's sphere of music is classical and mine is folk and Celtic. Michael and Julia's love story is gripping and sad. I'm going to pass it on to a musician friend of mine who is a violin and viola player and who loves a good read.
