YAY! Let's see what Mr. Fforde's imagination produced this time. :D

Once started, Thursdays second adventure was read in nearly no time. ;) And again I'm stunned how inexhaustible Fforde's ideas are and how amiable his characters are designed.
[Spoiler warning]
My main criticism regards the many different strands of plot (armageddon, jurisfiction, A.H., Landen, SpecOps, Cordelia,...) The main plot was missing, and although I expected the different strands to run together in the end, they did only in parts. Btw.: my favourite parts were those within jurisfiction - wonderful!

Now Thursday is already on her way to Berlin, and I'm looking forward to what awaits me in the Well of Lost Plots!

This arrived also.... Hmmm - sorry - but I need a bit time, taking into account my Mount TBR... :(
But I really try to pass it on as soon as possible.
When someone can't wait any longer... so please drop me a line and I will forward the books immediately.
Otherwise - thanks for the patience.
I'm really looking forward to read this.
So - later, more info about how I liked the story.
Then I will send it on to DieHenkerin (along with the first book in the series)
Er - well - of course lots of thanks to faerie-glen for sharing the books and also to tigertatze for sending them! :))

Just started now...
Will ask for the next address and forward this along with the first book.

Sorry - it took me longer than anticipated.
Well - I liked the book - but I think it's not really my prioritized reading topic.
I really enjoyed some of the funny parts of the book. I think it's more the real topic of the book that is not really mine.
But it was worth reading it and I am grateful that I got the oppertunity to read Thursday Next in the original language. Even if I might have missed some jokes, I think the original is even better than the translation. (as usually)
Currently I don't know if I will read the other books as well...

At last, Thursday is off for another visit.

thanks, Mary-T, Thursday arrived just in time before I go on holiday... but she'll stay in Dortmund.

What about DieHenkerin, btw? Currently fighting with quite a MOUNT TBR, I suppose? ... Aunty Edith whispers: yes, she's been skipped on her demand! Thursday may travel home after reading

Update by Schneefee from Dortmund, Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany on Wednesday, November 19, 2008
finally started reading...

THIS is absolutely NO comparison to the Eyre-Affair - it's so far better!
I could hardly put it down (so I really tried not to pick it up at all, coz I'm quite busy with work so close before Christmas - and I really need to sleep sometimes) and I'm eager to read the following book.
