Catwatching
4 journalers for this copy...
The essential guide to cat behaviour which considers questions such as:
*Why does a cat purr?
*Why does a cat trample on your lap with its front paws?
*Why do cats react so strongly to catnip?
*Why do cats present freshly caught prey to their human owners?
*Why does the female scream during the mating act?
*How does a cat use its whiskers?
*Why are cat-owners healthier than other people?

Left with the cat food.
Left with the cat food.
I found the book by the cat food in Asda when buying food for my cats, then i read the sticker and thought what a great idea it was. I'd never heard of this before and can't wait to start releasing some into the wild myself!!!
I am travelling way down south in a couple of weeks and plan to leave it down there to add a bit of mileage.
Thanks to Blaze30 who left it.

Yay! Catwatching has arrived in Graz safe and sound, and it has even brought company! Thank you very much j-dl, and I will try and find something nice for you shortly.
I've already started reading a bit and am fairly confident this book and I will get along great -- I've yet to read a Desmond Morris book I don't like.
I am sure Sam and I will be even happier for this. :)

Desmond Morris is great; if only all my teachers in school had been able to make science so accessible, fun and easy to understand! In a fun-to-read way, he explains feline behaviour, cat-related idioms, and the history of men's alliance with this special species.
The one thing I am getting tired of though is every single of the dozen of cat books I've read recently starting with a chapter on Ancient Egypt -- if I have to read just one more time about mourning Egyptians shaving off their eyebrows, I'll scream! (Not a particular flaw of this book though -- apparently it's a must in the genre. :))
Thank you so much for sharing, j-dl!
