Posting to Rainbow3. 2nd Class 15 May 2008
Oh, this arrived today! Many thanks Sterile for such swift action on my request. I hope my handmade bookmark swap arrived today with you. I’m looking forward to reading this next, before sending it off as a Not-So-Secret-Summer-Solstice BookCrossing gift event, as organised by the BookCrossingUK Yahoo Group. These Not-So-Secret events are ever such fun I do enjoy being involved in the BookCrossing community in this way!
Book cover: It should have been a simple journey: three friends driving cross-country towards Green Bay, Wisconsin. Then Grace, Annie and Sharon break down…. Deep in the northern woods, far from civilization. Just how far becomes clear when the women stumble into Four Corners: a dead town holding a deadly secret. It’s a secret people have already died for; and the terror is far from over. Because there are people who will stop at nothing to prevent the truth – and its witnesses – from ever leaving…
I am so happy to have swapped this for with Sterile, there are two reasons, a.) precisely so I can gift it to my Not-So-Secret-Summer-Solstice partner for the 21 of June, and b.) I read and enjoyed the book before this Live Bait, so I get to read this second in the series.
Ah, more scary scrapes, last minute saves and life defining moments for this fine crew of law and peace defenders! This one is a show-piece for the three ladies: the redoubtable Grace McBride, whose survival skills honed by a decade of defending herself from a maniac, help toward saving the trio from being discovered by a small army: FBI agent Sharon Mueller, on the road to recovery after the trauma of being shot, recovers her confidence while protecting her friends and the astounding Annie Belinsky the administration powerhouse of the Monkeywrench company, a dazzlingly intelligent and decisive thinker aids her friends through this terrible trial by backing them, every which way she can.
I really enjoyed this emlar and hope you do too!

Added 18th Jun: not posted as first planned because I was rushing around preparing to head off for a long weekend then. Now I’ve missed the post today so this will have to start its journey first thing - and first class – tomorrow in the hope it arrives on time for Saturdays great unwrapping.

Received my parcel today, thank you! The rest of the delay was my fault as I gave you the wrong address for posting, but it didn't matter! Looking forward to reading this book as I enjoyed another book by P.J.Tracy.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
Another really good book from P.J. Tracy! A good tale that takes a while to figure out, and keeps you on the edge wondering how they will escape this time!
Passed on to my Dad, CosyMart to read as I think he might enjoy it.

Just been given this to read by emlar. Will add it to the pile :-)
This is a good story (USA government cover up etc.), apparently it is part of a series about Monkeewrench who are a bunch of computer geeks. Anyway the story lives up to the hype, quite unusual IMHO.
