The Book Thief (Readers Circle)

I laughed, cried, gasped at the beauty of the writing. This is classified as a "Young Adults" novel, and it certainly has much to offer the teen and the mature adult as well. I would strongly suggest that any younger individual who reads this book should do so again another 10 or 20 years down the road.
I so enjoyed having wry, oddly caring Death narrate the story.
This is probably my fifth copy of this fabulous book.

Including in indygo88's Best of BC Book Box.
I happen to have the same book so I decide to swap this copy out and put mine it so they all get to travel a little bit.
I have to admit at first I wasn't sure I like the story. The narrator is certainly unusual, took me a few pages to figure his identity. The writing style is a bit different too. However, the characters grow on me and towards the end they become friends you care about.
