this is surely one of the strangest books I've ever read. the cover critique says something about funny, which I didn't see.
It is a story about obsessions, about people having habits that don't fit into the "normal" society, the problems arising and how two of those people fall in love and find a way to live with those different obsessions.
It is often a sad story, brutal sometimes, disgusting in places, too. In the end it turns out with a slightly positive view for the future.
Anyone who'd like to read it should be prepared to skip some parts because of animal-deaths (I can't stand that, really, so I skipped over those parts, but nevertheless couldn't get rid of the pictures for some time)

This arrived today, and I'm looking forward to reading it.
The description of this sounded fascinating, but I've now tried multiple times to read it and I just can't seem to get into it. It's slated for wild release.
