A novel of Arthur, part I of The Warlord Chronicles. The tale begins "a lifetime ago, in the last year of high king Uther's reign....
it is a long tale, starring Arthur of course, Guinevere, Lancelot and Merlin, all in their well or less known intrigues.
romance and chivalry, war, love, magic and politics. and many, many battles to be fought (sigh, I always try to avoid spending reading pages and pages of slaughter, and try to find out where the story goes on...).
still, for those who are into the Camelot stories, it is a good read.
