This is a novel that covers the life of several Swedish women belonging to different generations, beautiful prose, very emotional and at the same time, an interesting historical background. Loved it!

E já cá está, acabadinho de chegar da caixa de correio. Vai já para a mesinha de cabeceira. Obrigada Pequete
An interesting book about 3 generation of women. I particularly liked the chapter about Hanna, for me the most credible of all the characters. I was kind of sorry that she “disappeared” suddenly and the last years of her life were so resumed, after the many rich details of her childhood and her life as a married woman.
After that, the book seems of loses its strength.
Anyway, it’s a lovely book and made me want to travel to Sweden, to be by those wonderful lakes and seashores.
Thanks Pequete, for letting me discover another author.
