Thank you for this wishlist book - I just need to read the other ones before it now!!
Thanks for the chocolate as well.
Thanks for the chocolate as well.
I've always liked historical novels, and this period interests me particularly.
This book is the only one I picked from the buffet table at the London Convention (that's saying something!!!). Thanks to purple-pixie for starting its trip, and to camis for taking it to London. To Be Read any moment from now.

Five years afterwards... I've finally read it. VeronikaMM was so kind as to present me with one book of my wish list, and this is the one chosen for the return gift.
It makes an entertaining reading, even when it's mostly invented history. Well, not history really, but I am a Catalan and my vision of the Catholic Kings and the situation in Spain back then differs greatly from the one Philippa Gregory is showing in the novel. Somehow it feels artificially built in order to make Katherine lovable. But, as I said, I enjoyed reading it as a simple novel.
I hope you enjoy it too, Veronika!

book arrived in the mail yesterday
enjoyed reading it as another novel by Philippa Gregory about this time, enoyed it as a relatively easy read!
