A gripping tale of Gods in America. But America eats it's Gods. Gods came and went, and those who are still there, are nearly forgotten. But not everyone of them waits patiently for the end, some, like Wednesday try to fight. And Shadow? The "innocent bystander"? How does he fit in, why does Wednesday need him?
This book left me panting for more, a good thing that I already have Anansi Boys here with me as a bookring.
Came here with the English Fantasy Book Box. Sounds absolutely funny and since "Good Omens" I am looking forward to read more of Neil Gaiman.
Edit: Great book! It was lots of fun reading it. Even though it took me a little time to get used to all the wordplays and guessing the gods right.
A must for everyone who knows his pagan pantheons.
