I liked it, but have read better by Atwood
Found this book in a charity shop in Stoke ( always annoys me to find a BC for sale ! ).
I grabbed it because I've read most of Maragaret Atwood, one of my favourites years ago. But disappointing, I just couldn't "get into" it. No interest in the main character or what happens next. So, I'll free it for the next reader...
(I've put 'unread', I did about a quarter of it. Unusual because if I start a book I will keep
going to the end ).

Found this on a ferry to Santander so qualifies as 'off France'. Liked it a lot. It's now travelled through Spain, Portugal, Spain again, and now France. I'm releasing it in a cave which is used as a gite above the Loire.

We found this on the ferry on the way to Spain, took it to Santiago, Algarve, Seville, Granada, Valencia, over the Pyranees and various stops through France until it's release in the cave in the Loire just outside Amboise. We both read it, and both really enjoyed it. I'd had trouble getting into The Handmaiden's Tale, but was straight into this. Many thanks. We heard the cave was booked the following night by someone from Australia, so here's hoping this book travels further!
