Rec'd from a lovely fellow who had eight boxes of books to give away on Freecycle. My boyfriend and I simply drove over to his house and picked up the books, and now I'll be working on distributing them around the world. Yay!

Book Description
The Dolphin, pride of America's nuclear fleet, is the only submarine capable of attempting the rescue of a British meteorological team trapped on the polar ice cap. The officers of the Dolphin know well the hazards of such an assignment. What they do not know is that the rescue attempt is really a cover-up for one of the most desperate espionage missions of the Cold War -- and that the Dolphin is heading straight for sub-zero disaster, facing hidding sabotage, murder . . . and a deadly, invisible enemy . . .

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Okay, really randomly I appear to either have never journalled this or it was one of the journal entries that got eaten by the computer gremlins. Either way I have no idea exactly when this book arrived but I would presume I got it out of the Unknown & Unloved bookbox which means I've probably had this since 2008/09 *oopps!*

But I did get round to reading it and thought it was reasonably good (though I much preferred the movie version!) and have now got round to moving it onwards - dropped off at the phone box book exchange on the corner of Church Street and The Street in Great Livermere
