I think I got given this by my Dad as a kid, but I haven't read it yet so I will before releasing it!

Definitely an interesting read, bits of it were a bit gory. Another book that made me question what a 'happy ending' actually is. It had a good ending, but it could have ended in so many other ways, and in some ways this is another 'man controls nature' book, making me question what is right?
SPOILERS: (highlight to read)
When White Fang ends up on the farm, I kept wondering if that was any crueler than leaving him behind with Matt...a part of me says taking him out of his natural environment would be cruel, but another part says look what happened the first time he got left behind.
Clearly (well to me anyway) pitting him against the other dogs was cruel, but then isn't stopping him from obeying his natural instincts cruel in some way too?
Lots of questions!! But recommended :-)

Picked up at the Wellington meet-up. I snapped this up because I've heard so much second hand regarding the story, and I want to read it for myself.
