I enjoyed this a lot more than Coast to Coast Ghosts and reallllly liked that one.Would read more of her collections anytime.Felt very comforted after reading these stories. They were not the typical scary collection. This is now a bookray and will be on it's way to the first reader shortly.

RELEASE NOTES:

i just received the book from my aunt Sue. I will read this week and send off to the next person on the book ring hopefully by 2-1-08. i will journal again after i read it:)
I have finally finished the book. It is an amazing book, it really makes you think about things. I found some comfort in the book, and also it made me want to explore the thought of family members, pets, friends, and even strangers that have passed making their spirit known.
Yay! The book actually arrived on March 1 but sat there waiting through the weekend. I was finally able to pick it up yesterday, March 6 and began reading it in the car on our way home.
Today it's raining like kitts & pups making it ideal for a nice, long reading session.

I really enjoyed this book. Lots of "Had I Knowns" with regard to places mentioned that I either visited near or lived by.
I noticed in Coast to Coast Ghosts and now in Ghosts Among Us that the editing or something was just not right. Some sentences just didn't flow right. As a non-writer, I probably wouldn't say anything at all except that it did challenge my momentum a few times. But it took nothing away from my continued fascination when reading these stories.
Thank you oldreader for hosting and including me in your Ray!
Ghosts Among Us was sent on its way to mysticalzoe today, 3/18/08.

Wow! This book was better then coast to coast ghosts, sadly I have never been to any of these places, but wouldn't mind visiting them. Now I do have to say some of the stories spooked me out just a little but otherwise I really enjoyed all the stories! I would highly reccomend this one to Ghost fans!!! Thanks for sharing oldreader! Now as soon as I can get the next person's address I will mail this book to her.

Finaly sent off enjoy!
After a long day out, it was a nice surprise to come home to in the mail. Thanks for including me and I will gladly begin reading tonight. I'm excited to read all of the entries stating that this was enjoyed more than Coast to Coast Ghosts.
This was definitely better than Coast to Coast Ghosts. I really enjoyed reading this one and found it easy to get wrapped up in. There was even a restaurant mentioned that's right here in Philadelphia, PA! Waiting for an address to send to the next in line.
My sincerest apologies for having this book so long. I already have the next person's address and the book is ready to be shipped. I had some unexpected family issues to deal with and have been tied up. I will have the book dropped off at the post office this afternoon.
Book went out yesterday! Safe travels!
received this ysterday. Looking forward to getting started on it.
Blackadder75 asked to be skipped, so I will PM TopazCat now for an address.
Fisished this book yesterday morning, & sent it off to topazcat in Florida.
Rec'd book yesterday, safe and sound, in the mail.
This was an interesting and easy read. Not very informative, more of a casual browse of real spirit encounters.
Will mail in a couple of days - will journal it and PM Busyangel when it goes into the mail.

Just received the book today, will post again with my thought thank you busyangel for mailing.
Just finished reading this fascinating book. I have not read Coast to coast so, can't comment on it. Most of the ghost encounter are not scarry. I often wondered why are these spirit remain earthbound? Anyway, thanks oldreader for sharing.
I am offering this book as a ray it forward...
Ray It Forward
More or less it is the lazy way for me to set up a common BookRay. Ordinarily a BookRay has a list of participants and it gets mailed down the line to the last person who does whatever they wish with the book.
Well, I have no desire to maintain a list so this is what I figure. I’ll find the first person that wants this book and send it to them. I just ask that they pass the book along “BookRay” fashion when they are done with it.
If you are in possession of this book then please look for another BookCrosser to pass it to. Check the wish lists, the forums, a yahoo group, the BookRelay, or offer it at a meeting…whatever way you choose to pass it on is up to you. If it seems that no other BookCrossers want it then send it along its way as a wild release but this should be a last resort.
What are the advantages of Ray it Forward? Time frame – I ask that you pass the book along in a couple months or so, but because there is not a “waiting list” the time is a little more relaxed than a standard BookRay.
Shipping Preferences – Choose your own. If you need to post within your own country then do so. If you choose to send international that is great too. If postal costs are a problem right now then hand it to another BookCrosser at a meeting, release to an OBCZ, ask for postage from the receiver or find some other way to get the book in the hands of another BookCrosser.
***Please note that it would be polite to let the next person know that this is a Ray It Forward book before you pass it along to them so that they will know that they will be expected to pass it on in a couple months.
Less Stress – Please do your best to keep this book moving but I am going to try my hardest not to worry about it anymore as I send it into the world to be enjoyed by as many as is its fate.
HAVE FUN!
