A quick read (120pgs) .... one that will melt the hearts of dog-lovers out there. It is nothing like Captain Corelli's Mandolin and it was written while the author was on holiday in Australia. I enjoyed hearing about the true tales of Red. The book has gorgeous little Red dog pictures on the corner of the pages that move as the pages are flicked. That thrilled my kids especially my son who was doing cartooning at school at the time I was reading this book.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
This book has been chosen from the OZ VBB (Round 25) and I have just popped it into the post ... heading for the other side of Australia. The movie is now showing over here and Mr 888 and son have seen it .... and I am pleased to report that they absolutely loved it. (Also, I spotted a Red Dog on my walk this morning ....... (Well, he looked like Red Dog!! ..... Am I starting to imagine things??!!) Enjoy the book!! Cheers from WA :)
Hubby found Red Dog in the mail before I did & took it away to Mudgee on a job for a week before I could log it. This dog goes everywhere !
