The Last Time They Met: A Novel

I am a fan of this author and enjoy reading all of her books. Getting very close to 'part one' myself but with memories of my own 'part three', I certainly enjoyed reading this book but had a few unanswered questions along the way. The ending "turns the whole story on its ear" and I do so like books that keep me reading until the very last page
Mailed this book to another Bookcrosser: Red-Head. Happy reading.
I received this from lora-pora in Regina, SK.
Having recently read, "The Weight of Water" I am very intrigued to read this prequel. The twist ending at the end of that book was quite unexpected and from the reviews I've read about "The Last Time They Met", the same can be said about the ending of this one.
I willl update my comments once I've finished it.

Having finished this book, I'm rather speechless! I definately didn't see the ending coming, even though I have read "The Weight of Water"!
I love how the story followed the love affair between the main characters through three different time periods in their lives.
Yet again, I have been 'wow'-ed by Anita Shreve.... and can't wait to get my hands on a copy of 'Sea Glass.'
