Salvador Dalí didn't want to orgasm, because he believed that ejaculating ate too much of his artistic potential: "My brush is my penis and my paint is my semen!" But an average man is probably unlinke him. Honoré de Balzac could be in between: "There goes another novel." ... This book follows the history of man's pursuit for orgasm and of sexual habits, mainly in western countries. It was shocking to me to read about the public opinion of social leaders about sex through time.
