Book two out of the Axis of Time trilogy.

I won't hold back any punches, so I'm gonna say that Designated Targets is the best book out of the trilogy. Set four months after the appearance of the Multinational UN force from the future, this novel has the perfect pacing and character development. Birmingham avoids making mistakes in his second book but unfortunately it fared better than the third novel.

10/10 because it's flawless!
