Zadie Smith at the Pen Festival on Faith and Reason.
I loved this book. It was witty and took on an enormous number of issues from ethnicity and religion to lesbianism and drug abuse. The internal conflict of raising a family in a new culture is taken on with a ton of humor and possibility.
I was trying to find something that wasn't on ZZZ's bookshelf, that I also hadn't read since I was traveling to visit. It turns out he already has a Serbian translation, but I hope it can be used for a trade, especially since I have to make room in my bag for all the great books he's passed on to me.

New stop for White Teeth. Indeed I have Serbian copy but I don't think it'll be a problem to find a new home for this book.
Thanks!

Hi zzz, THANK YOU SO MUCH for sending me this RABCK!!! It totally made my day in the hospital! I am back home since Monday and hope baby will stay inside some 3 or 4 more weeks...:-) I once got this book as a ring but that was in my early BC days when I joined too many and so had to send the copy unread. So now I get the chance to finally read it, thank you!
Reserved for BerlinBookworm, who kindly sent me a RABCK.
As I don't have much time to read right now and I discovered that my library has an English copy of this book I decided to send it to BerlinBookworm right away. Enjoy and thanks again for the RABCK!!

Thank you, bluecat07, for this book! It sounds very promising! I have heard so many good things about Zadie Smith that I can't wait to read it.
I am also totally amazed as to where this book has already been: Korea, Serbia, Hessen :-) - I'll have to think of a good idea to let this book carry on its journey after I've read it.
