Bertrams.com synopsis:
"Harry Patch is the last British soldier alive to have fought in the trenches of the First World War. Now 108 years old, this is his extraordinary story in which he vividly recalls daily life in the trenches, the horrors of the combat, and his experiences in a life that has spanned 6 monarchs and 20 Prime Ministers. July marks the 90th anniversary of the Battle of Paschendaele."
Given to me by Monica at work for bookcrossing purposes.
Updated 7 June 2009: I'm taking this to perfect-circle. She's then, very kindly, going to use her knowledge and wisdom to get this to a future meet; possibly the Edinburgh BookCrossing Unconvention next month.

I picked this book up from the table of temptation at the Edinburgh Uncon last weekend. I remember seeing Harry interviewed on television last year so thought this would be an interesting read. Woosang wants it after me so it will be going to Australia next.
