Shiver: A novel
1 journaler for this copy...
A while back for the Books Alive week/month - if you bought a certain amount of books you got a free one - and this was that book. It is beautiful. From the backcover " I can catalogue Antartica by touch. The touch of air sucked dry on my cheek, the fur of a day old seal pup, the touch of an iceberg, a blizzard, a lover.."
I remember Nikki from when she was on Triple J - that's a while back now!
Shortly after I read this I met someone who had worked in Antarctica for nearly 2 years - needless to say I was full of questions prompted from reading this book. I really enjoyed reading it and parts of it have stayed with me. So why am I giving it away? Well I found a signed copy and I'm keeping that one instead!
