Very different subject for Margaret Atwood. Her writing is so wonderful that it is a real joy to read her books.
I enjoyed this tremendously. I wonder if I would have picked it up and continued if it hadn't been written by Atwood. The subject would not have been my first choice - the Paradise project and how the world came to grief. But all the emotions and darkness are very real and reflect us all to a certain extent. She has such a grasp of human emotions and motivations.
