I bought this book because it was the sequel to Valor's Choice, which is the book that started it all for me on Bookcrossing.com!
The Better Part of Valor was more of the same great dialogue and action packed sci-fi military plot that made the first novel fun to read. I had to rate this book lower than its predessosor, however, because it lacked the sexual tension of the first and the overall mission in the novel was less appealing...and there's an absolutely annoying character which is well written enough to make reading about her painful.
I have already released Valor's Choice back into the wild, so let's hope Fate steps in and some lucky reader finds both of these for a great weekend read!
