" In her seventh adventure, Denver's intrepid dry-cleaner/sleuth, Mandy Dyer, encounters a baffling case of mistaken identity - or is it?
After dining at the local mountaintop restaurant, Mandy's friend Laura discovers that someone has taken her coat and left another in its place. The only clue to the owner's identity is an unfamiliar dry-cleaning mark. Mandy's casual inquiries turn serious when a dead body is discovered dressed in Laura's missing coat."
I've never read any books from this series, so I wait a bit to hope to get any of the previous parts, before I read this. But if I have to wait for too long, I'll start with this then!

Nice book - I read this after I had read the first one in series, and even if some time had passed and some things happened, I still got the hang of the things pretty quickly. I liked this story too, it was easy and quick to read, and still a bit exciting.

Sending to Annelis!
Oh, thank you very much, Chania! You are a wonderful friend. And I'll read the Easy gardening too.
This was a very enjoyable and exciting cozy detective story. I found out that the bag lady isn't a bag lady anymore. That is good. There were some other old acquaintances and some new friends in the book and a good plot.
That little creep Ricky Monroe was called Ricky Malone a couple of times, so what.
I think I know some new reader for this book.

I gave the book to a fellow bookcrosser.

I used to take my carpets to a self-service cleaners in Kerava and the lady there was so helpful I almost didn't have to do anything myself. She also kept asking where each and every stain had come from and said she would choose the washing powder by the origin of stains... Perhaps she actually was a sleuth trying to figure out if I had murdered somebody??
Looking forward to reading this in near future, I'll be having more time and no dogs for a week or two.

I've finally reached "near future". Sorry for the delay, but I'm putting together a parcel for Soozreader and this is on her wishlist. Quite a gloomy start, I hope it will get less exciting now... Although it seldom works that way.
I was wondering why I didn't have dogs for a few weeks back in 2011, but it was when I had my vericose vein operated for the second time. The first time they burned it, but the vein grew back and was surgically removed. Nowadays I have lots of vericose veins, but haven't bothered to do anything to them anymore. Maybe I will regret that one day.
Sadly I have been without Doggie Dearest since February, but at the moment I feel I am not going to take another one. My dogsitters are getting old and I am not a youngster, either.

Finished. Several twist and turns, but I did suspect the correct culprit rather early on.
I guess I need to read something else than murder next.
