One of the very first books I read by this author and I loved it!

Poppy Dunbar is out on her hen night when she meets Tom Kennedy. With his dark eyes and quirky smile, he could lure any girl off the straight and narrow, but what really draws Poppy to him is the feeling that she's known him all her life. She can't go through with the meeting they arrange - but she can't go through with the wedding either. Suddenly notorious as 'The Girl Who Jilted Rob Macbride', Poppy moves to London. Soon she's installed in the bohemian household of Caspar French, a ravishingly good-looking young artist with a reputation for breaking hearts. But even in her colourful new home, Poppy can't get Tom off her mind. Until she's tracked him down, she'll never know if their meeting was destiny - or if the future holds something entirely different for her ...

I love Jill Mansell's books, the first book I read by Jill was Staying at Daisys and since then have read nearly all of them, I think I have about 3 left to read :) Cant wait to read and thanks so much for sending both this one and Mixed Doubles all the way from the UK.

Received from another moocher on bookmooch.com

I read a few of Janet Evanovich's books between the last Jill Mansell book I read and this one, the last few of her books were not that great so I decided I needed a bit of a break.

I am unsure if the break was the reason or if it was, just such a great book, but I throughly enjoyed it and cant wait to read Mixed Doubles.

I told myself I wouldn't take any books from the meet up today, but I can't seem to say no to a good Jil Mansell book.

I got half way through this book and gave up. I don't know if my mind isn't in the right place for this kind of book, but it just didn't hold my attention. It was just taking too long to get anywhere.
