From the publisher:
Meet Macon Leary--a travel writer who hates both travel and strangeness. Grounded by loneliness, comfort, and a somewhat odd domestic life, Macon is about to embark on a surprising new journey. It's called love--and it arrives in the unlikely shape of a fuzzy-haired dog-obedience trainer who promises to turn the Accidental Tourist into a happy traveler...

Journal Entry 7 by Chucklesthescot at Paisley, Scotland United Kingdom on Tuesday, December 28, 2010
After reading 'Digging to America' I was really keen to read other Anne Tyler books but I'm finding the others a bit of a let down. I really hated the main character in this book and didn't get very far into it.

This was a really bad book! I HATED the main character and only managed a few chapters before I gave up on it!
