Just got it, thanks WhiteRaven.
I'll get to it as soon as my tbr lets me.

"The eighteen chapters of The Bhagavad Gita (c. 500 b.c.), the glory of Sanskrit literature, encompass the whole spiritual struggle of a human soul. Its three central themes-love, light, and life-arise from the symphonic vision of God in all things and of all things in God."

Well I'll have to admit that I really couldn't get into this one, I struggled with some of the verses and a lot of the metaphors and even though I think I got the general idea of some parts, others eluded me completely.
I'll keep it travelling.

The Bhagvad Gita arrived and I held the book gingerly & reverently - I know its a sacred book for those who are the followers of the Hindu religion. Read the two first pages, and as I knew bits and pieces of the story having heard, and come across them and refernces to them in Sri Lanka where I was born, had a better encounter than most others would have I think. I'd also done a rather extensive google and a wikipeadia search. The spiritual part is going to be the part I'd have to struggle with. Looking forward to what the future brings though. Shall JE when I'm through...
Thanks kizmiaz, I'd never have read this but for you - didn't even know it was available as a translation, didn't even imagine it ;) - Good picture that you have put here in the book page too - I'm going to print it out oneday.
