WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Off to a new reader!
This came back in my travel narrative bookbox. This one looks interesting. I'm glad this one went in the box.
I had the hardest time getting into this book. I'd start it and then put it down. Then a few months later I'd pick it back up again, only to put it back down. I recently tried to read it yet again and actually got into it more. I think I finally got along with the author and his personality/writing style. I liked learning about Rome. Makes me wish I'd spent more time there when I visisted there a few years back. Anyhow, I did like this book in the end.
I will probably include this in my next travel narrative bookbox.

Released 11 yrs ago (9/8/2012 UTC) at Thegoaliegirl's Travel Narrative bookbox, A Bookbox -- Controlled Releases
CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Sent out to start my latest travel narrative bookbox.
How odd is this: I chose this book from the Travel Bookbox, and I check the BCID and it's one of mine. But we are (tentatively) planning a trip to Italy this summer and I just had to try it again.
I'm reading this for Dewey's 24-Hr. Readathon today.
