Better than average novel. Science fiction, takes place in the far, far future. Follows the story of young Jos from his capture at age eight to his coming of age during an intergalactic war about ten years later. Very good read, though the author has inexplicably chosen to write each of the novels three sections in different voices. The novel itself starts off in second person, then switches to first person, then to a third person (limited) p.o.v. Fine novel for a first attempt, but please, Ms. Author, don't pull the voices thing on us again!
