I hadn't read anything by Richard Ford before, so I picked this baby up at the local library for fifty cents. It won the Pulitzer prize about 12 years ago. It's set in NJ, and I found it to move along quite quickly until about the middle of the book. Great lesson in writing dialogue for aspiring writers.
