I had a couple of good laughs with this. Death is my favourite character, such a charming guy! ;)
I don't envy those people who have to translate this kind of books to Finnish (or any other language). A great part of humour is based on the English language, so some things are just impossible to translate. I'm glad that I read this in English; I think the translated version wouldn't have been half as funny as the original.
This book will now travel to England for Mojorisin2 to read.

Just received this one in the post from tintti, thanks! Been looking forward to reading this for a while, I'll journal again once I've read it.
Having read the first discworld novel and not been too impressed, I was glad to find that the characters in Thief Of Time grabbed me from the start and never let go. I enjoyed the humour of the four horsemen and the constant 'Is it not writtens' by Lu-Tze are hilarious. I only wish I could take up the way of Mrs Cosmopolite!

Received today with a very generous parcel from Mojorisin2 - thank you so much. The more books I read in the Discworld series, the more I love them - looking forward to reading this one.

I was keeping this one so that I could read them in order, but in the end I decided it didn't really matter. I always enjoy Terry Pratchett's novels, they are such a great mix of comedy, science, history and myth, I just love the little in-jokes and the punny names. This one was quite a bit more thought provoking than some and I enjoyed the Nanny Ogg cameo - my favourite witch!
I offered this on the bookrelay and it was accepted by wss4. Will be on its way to her tomorrow.

Book arrived today. Thank you so much. I am working on collecting some of the Discworld books so that I can read them in order. I can't wait to start! Thanks for the postcard also!!
