I've heard that Picoult's books are not 'light' - they all have a rather dark theme. This one? Teen suicide. This one has been recommended to me as one of Picoult's best. This is my first of hers to read, and I'm looking forward to it.

I wavered between giving this a 7 and an 8. It was well written, the characters are very well drawn, I was pulled into the story from the beginning all the way to the end, I cared about the characters. AND, I think I've had enough of depressing themes for a while. I find that I can do a book like this every once in a while, but I need lighter books more often. So....I'm passing this on to CarynPic in MA as an RABCK, hopefully to be enjoyed.
