It just arrived tonight. Thank you, LisaXIII!
Cute! Fun read. A little unsettling as I'd not read the first book and apparently there were MANY changes made between the first book and the movie... Many people/places/things different than what I'd expected. Still -- it seemed to accurately reflect the mindset I remember from my teen years in a frothy escapist, humorous way.
I'd planned this book for a wild release to the Nova program, but think I'll offer it as a bookring first, in case others are curious about it, too.

When I came home about an hour ago I found this book in the mail waiting for me. I think it arrived here during the past week. Looking forward reading it.
Enjoyable read. A bit different then I expected. It's reading quick, just a book for in between...

update 08/25/2003:
This was really funny to read, short chapters and very fast to read. I only need 2 days for it.
I think I will start looking for more books off this series.
goes to the next member I will ask her if she is ready for the book.

Book has just arrived, and it looks like a very tempting read. I will be reading it at once and sending to Elina as soon as possible, thanks Lisaxiii and AmberLee for this bookring.
A very fast and fun read! I had never read any of this series, nor had I seen the movie, but the book stands very well on its own, it's got enough action, and it works on making me want the sequels to find out what happens next.
And Cabot suceeds very well in making Mia feel realistic and fun in her teen-view without feeling in any way selfish or stupid. Lots of fun.
Tuesday, September 30th - I have just shipped the book to Elina.

Just received the book and I'm really anxious to read it. It looks like a quick read. Thanks BlossomU and of course Amberlee17.
This was a cute and fun read. It took me two days to finish once I started it. I've read the first book in the series and will definitely looking for the next parts. Mia is now ready to return to California.
Mia and crew were waiting for me when I returned home today. Hope you all enjoyed her adventures.
(Elina -- thanks! The stamps on the envelope are lovely. I'm passing them on to my nephews for their collection: they will love them, too. Regards!)
