Vielen Dank fürs Schicken! Es ist am letzten TAg des alten Jahres in meinem Postkastel gewesen.
Finally (!!!) I had the time to listen to this audiobook - and it was very interesting. I didn't know mthat Michael J. Fox was originally Canadian and found his way to speak difficult to understand at the beginning, however this might have been caused by his illness.
Bottom line is that I needed some time to get into the story and found it more and more interesting and compelling...
I am glad I finally took the time to listen!

Ein Mitbringsel vom Café Einstein, das ich während der Herbstferien besucht habe. Interessant und erfreulich, dass es in manchen OBCZs sogar Hörbücher gibt! :-)
Dass Michael J. Fox an Parkinson erkrankt ist, ging ja schnell durch die Presse. Dass er sein Leben und seine Krankheit so schonungslos öffentlich macht und sogar eine Stiftung eingerichtet hat, wusste ich bisher nicht. Seine nuschelnde Art zu lesen ist in der Tat gewöhnungsbedürftig, weil ich bisher nur äußerst präzise sprechende Kanadier erlebt habe. Aber wenn man sich erstmal in eingehört hat, geht es einigermaßen.
Insgesamt ein bewegendes Dokument einer schillernden Karriere mit unvorhergesehener Schnittstelle.
