This is a very horrfic book depicting the atrocities in Cambodia only about 30 years ago. i read it while travelling around Cambodia and it was all the more poignant; I actually saw the reality of the aftermath and the poverty that has stricken its people. But saying that, it is a beauitful place and the people are wonderful. I meet some adorable children who just wanted to play games with us and talk abotu their schooling.
