Haddon

Arrived today! Thanks for the trade, lake44! :')
As other reviewers have mentioned, this one's very different from Haddon's previous novel, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. A fair amount longer, a fair amount more tedious. The humor is very British -- somewhat subtle and understated -- and generally you either like it or you don't. I liked the humor, but the plotline ended up being kind of disappointing. (Family of four with all their dysfunctional family traits.) Funny, but never really going anywhere. This was a moderately enjoyable read, and quite quirky as well, but I doubt that it will stick with me for any length of time.
Sending off to PBS member. Enjoy! :')
