I have succombed. Bought on Amazon in order to fill up a pack for free postage. I started reading it this morning and I have to say, I don't think I will be exercising the Nancy Pearl rule for this book!
Very good - the character of Matthew Shardlake, the tortured hunchback commissioner sent to investigate a series of murders at a monastery, is fabulous. Have immediately bought the next one in the series.
