I was out shopping at charity places, like Goodwill and Salvation Army, and a local place called "Upscale Resale", here in Columbia, Missouri. The object was to find old used Barbie Dolls for a cheap price. I need them to turn into bizarre and hilarious awards for members of my Sweet Adelines (http://HOMchorus.coin.org) singing group on an upcoming awards dinner night. Before leaving Upscale Resale I grabbed a few books off the shelf for my own reading enjoyment. One of them was Breathing Lessons. I noticed it said "Free Book" on the bottom and joked with the volunteer sales girl about how I was paying 25 cents for a "Free Book". She shook her head and said aloud "I wonder why that's written on there?". I found out after I got home and started looking through my loot. Wow...what a great treasure this seemed to be when I discovered the label inside. This has turned out to be such fun. I'm only on page 15 and this book has made me laugh a good three or four times already. I'll journal again when I'm done reading it and report on whether I've released it back into the wild or sent it traveling. This is a great idea and I'm glad to be a part of it now. Thanks!

Finished the book a while ago but didn't want to release it locally. Overall, the book was good. It isn't one of those reads that blows your mind but it was pleasant to read before bedtime. This book will probably appeal more to women than men, and especially to empty nesters. The book was given to a family member who was heading back to Orlando, Florida. It was hoped she would remember to lay it in the Orlando airport. I'll confim that when I hear from her next.
