'Illusions' is one of the books I always travel with, not just because I can open it anywhere and find something insightful.
It's got plenty of meaning, but isn't preachy. It made me think from the first time I picked it up as a teenager, and it still does now.
Oh, and it's a really good story, too:
'Here is a test to find whether your mission on earth is finished: If you're alive, it isn't.'
