I found this book in a doctor's office waiting room. I started reading one of the short stories inside and wasn't impressed or disinterested either way. I ended up bringing it home with me, with the intention of reading it, registering it, and returning it to the waiting room where I first found it. I have read every story, and really....there was only one story that struck me with a real surprise ending..."Wild Things." I'm not sure why I wasn't catching on and let my guard down enough to be fooled like that, but it was something. It's a bummer too, because it's a good example of "rehabilitation" but I guess that doesn't matter, even in the fantasy world.
