Had to get it just to see what it was like. It is a King after all.

I enjoyed this tale. I thought it would be very different from King's usual stuff, but really it was very similar in many ways. I just love the way he can tell a story, it's just magical.

I found this book one Saturday morning at the scouts annual secondhand book sale in my local village hall.A very pacy and intriguing thriller. Stephen King has a rare gift, and I am always surprised at the range of his imagination. The Colorada Kid is clearly inspired by Dashiell Hammett, and King does justice to the genre. I would recommend this book. It's not too demanding, and can be described as a page turner. It is an easy read and falls into the category of novella at just 184 pages. I was lucky enough to meet Stehpen King briefly two years ago, and found him to be a very pleasant and affable chap. I am happy to pass this book.
