Retrieved from our local sorting office on Friday 3rd April 2009 along with two other books (Perry Mason: The Case of the Fan Dancer's Horse & The Harvey Girls).
All *three*, yes, *three* from Queenfrog in Nova Scotia! Dale, you are very naughty, I only meant *any* of the three I asked for! I'll be keeping a close eye on your wishlist ma'am...
LOL - skim read this one (speed reading being one of my few skills) on Friday evening/night, and although it has dated a trifle (it was originally published in 1969), most of the advice hasn't.
I adore the cover illustration - pure 60's publishing at it's peak I suspect :) and the advice in most parts is still pertinant and encouraging.
Making AVL so another singleton can enjoy the predessor to Bridget Jones ;)

Many thanks to AgnesXNitt for transferring more reading material from her Mount AVL to my Mount TBR (alright, so I requested this one!)

It is rather dated and I am pretty sure the author was one of the more attractive girls in her neighborhood (either that or I truly am a hopeless case) but still for the most part enjoyable and the dispenser of potentially useful advice. I particularly liked some of the suggested answers to the title question... may well be using some of those at the next family gathering.

Finally getting round to moving this on as otherwise it's unlikely to ever move from my Mount AVL and, quite frankly, I just don't have the floorspace any more!
