This was a first novel written in 1986,what an original gem! I only picked it off the shelf as it was a short read: the format made it perfect for quick bursts at break times.

A novel about the menaing of home, family, alcohol, that blends reality with mysticism and psychological turmoil. You never know quite which plane you are on but the lack of coherence is part of its charm.

Off to look the author up on Amazon to see if shes written any more.......
