Journal Entry 2 by lake44 at Timp Cave Ranger Station in Uinta National Forest, Utah USA on Thursday, October 11, 2007
IU picked the book up at the Tempanogas Cave outside Salt Lake City Ut. We are traveling and will up date once I have finished the book
The book was set during the Revolution 1776 to 1784, about the lives of militia families and there fight to survive. It follows the lives of a young couple, Gil and Lana, who migrated to Deerfield to start a family and have great hope for their farm. Life has just begun but things are soon to change. This book follows history and as close to facts as the author can be. Walter Edmonds takes the reader on quite a journey and gives you a real sense of how life was during the 1700’s.
