Eat, Pray, Love

I really liked this book. Some of the other comments on Bookcrossing say that the first 1/3 of the book is fun but then becomes boring after that. Both Italy and Indonesia is definitely easier reading while India is VERY philosophical with tons of new agism stuff. I would really like to know how Gilbert intigrated this experience into day-to-day living: that's where we all live and need to apply this stuff. It's easy being "holy and insightful" in an Ashram - a little different in the tedium of daily living.

RELEASE NOTES:
A rather silly book, depite being on the best seller's list. The "eat" part, set in Italy was pretty entertaining. Gilbert has some def. writing skills, and I wanted to jump on a plane and go eat in Italy! From there it quickly went downhill, however, into mundane dialogue about her thoughts and feelings.
